Instructions:
- Transfer design to tiles using old carbon paper.
- Basecoat gingerbread people.
- After filling in one with Burnt Sienna, pat the painted area while still wet
with your brush to remove brush streaks creating a stripped effect.
- Repeat for all gingerbread people.
- Basecoat the holly leaves using True Green.
- Paint the lettering using the #5 round brush and Fire Red.
- Using the Fire Red again, paint the bow tie on the gingerbread man.
- Use the back of your brush to paint Red buttons on the "girls".
- Also dot the holly berries in the groups of threes on all the holly leaves. Allow to Dry.
- Lightly sand the edges of the sign plaque to remove any rough spots.
- Paint an Ivory basecoat on the front of the sign with two coats of paint. DO NOT PAINT THE EDGES.
- Use the Hunter Green to paint a basecoat on the edges of the signboard.
- Using a stiff dry brush, stroke Ivory paint across the greenedges to soften the edges.
- Attach a picture hanger to the back of the signboard.
- Cut three strips of 1" wide cloth ribbon long enough to wrap around the edges
of each tile.
- Fold ribbon inhalf, using hot glue attach ribbon flush with top of tile, fold ribbon
to back and hot glue in place.
- Cut three 17" pieces of ribbon; cut ribbon in half lengthwise.
- Tie three bows.
- Center tiles with bows above on plaque, hot glue in place.
