Instructions:
- Section off boxes and lids. Note: Make sure strips on boxes math lids.
- Paint small and medium boxes and lids. Paint Large boxes and lids.
- Splatter boxes and lids with White, Black, Pumpkin, Opaque Yellow and Dark Chocolate. Note: To splatter, use a toothbrush.
- Paint one set of clown arms Opaque Yellow, the second set Pumpkin, and the third set Dark Chocolate.
- Paint one set of clown legs Opaque Yellow polka dots, the second set Pumpkin, and the third set striped White and Opaque Yellow.
- Basecoat six nickels White, eight 1" circles Black, one 1" Pumpkin and one 1" Opaque Yellow.
To assemble bags:
- Cut Black felt into three equal pieces measuring 4" x 9"
- Cut two pieces measuring 2" x 4" off one piece of
felt and set aside. Fold the felt pieces in half so they
measure 4" x 4 1/2" and glue 4 1/2" sides
closed.
- Fold small felt piece in half so it measures 4" x 3" and glue 3" sides closed.
- Clip two orange chenille stems in half for handles. Glue handles inside of bags.
- Paint "Happy Halloween" on small bag. "Trick-or-Treat and "Goodies" on large bags with Pumpkin.
To assemble bat head band:
- With remaining Black felt pieces, cut points on each side and keep five triangle shapes after cutting out points.
- Dot eyes White, then Black and paint fangs White on two Black circles for bat's head. Repeat for second bat. Refer to Photo
- Glue two triangle shapes to back of each bat's head for ears. Blush ears and cheeks.
- Clip Black chenille stem in half. At one end of chenille stem secure felt piece.
- Glue bat head to felt. Refer to Photo.
- Coil stems and attach bats to 6" piece of orange chenille stem for headband.
To Assemble Spider:
- Clip black chenille stem in four equal pieces.
- Crisscross chenille pieces and twist together in center to form legs.
- Roll a piece of Lime Green felt for spider's body and roll one small triangle piece of Black felt for spider's head.
- Glue head and body together and glue legs to bottom of body.
To decorate Black felt hat:
- Cut a 2 1/4" circle with pinking shears and seven patches 1" x 1 1/4" from Lime Green felt.
- Dot patches with Pumpkin. Let dry.
- Glue five patches to hat and two patches to "Goodies" bag.
- Dot 1" Yellow circle with Pumpkin.
- Glue circle to center of Lime Green felt circle, snip to form petals of flower.
- Glue flower to 6" piece of Orange chenille stem.
- Coil stem and glue to hat.
To decorate witch hat:
- Paint web on top of hat White. Refer to photo.
- Cut two pieces of Lime green felt 1/2" x 12".
- Wrap one piece around hat; glue in place and tie bow out of other piece.
- Trim tails and glue in place.
- Glue spider to hat. Refer to photo.
To assemble small Candy Corn Kid:
- Drill hole on sides and bottom of box for arms and legs.
- Insert orange arms and legs, glue in place.
- Glue bat headband and "Happy Halloween" bag in place. Refer to photo.
- Draw pattern for mouth, with marker.
- Glue White nickels and Black circles with White highlight on lid.
- Paint teeth White.
To Assemble medium Candy Corn Kids:
- Drill hole on sides and bottom of box for arms and legs.
- Insert Yellow arms and polka dot legs, glue in place.
- Glue felt hat with flower and "Goodies" bag in place. Refer to photo.
- Draw pattern for mouth with marker.
- Glue White nickels and Black circles with highlight on lid.
- Paint teeth White.
To assemble large candy Corn Kid:
- Drill hole on sides and bottom of box for arms and legs.
- Insert brown arms and striped legs, glue in place.
- Glue witch hat and "Trick-or-Treat" bag in place. Refer to photo.
- Draw pattern for mouth with marker.
- Glue White nickels and Black circles with highlight on lid, paint tooth White.
- Draw a jack-o-lantern face on Orange circle and glue to bag.
- Cut out small leaf shape from Lime Green felt glue to pumpkin on bag.
