- Cut Cord into 2- 24" pieces.
- Fold one length of cord creating a loop at one end. Leave one end
9" long and one end 15" long.
- Guide loop end of cord through key ring.

Weaving cord
Helpful hint: Hang key ring on a nail or hook or tape to work
surface to weave. This will make it easier to see the lengths of cord
and the pattern in your weave.
-
Lay the left outside cord over the two center cords (see
illustration 3)
-
Lay the right outside cord over the left cord (see
illustration 4 ).
-
Guide the right cord under the left cord and center
cords and through the opening on the left side (see illustration 5).
-
Pull outer cords tight so that knot is close to the key
ring.
-
Lay the right outside cord over the center cords (see
illustration 6)
-
Lay the left cord over the right cord (see illustration
7)
This is your first completed square knot.
